Added support and optimizations for new versions of host applications:
- Resolve 17
- Resolve Studio 17
Added support for MacOS Big Sur (11.x)
The minimum supported version of MacOS is now 10.13.6.
If you need to use the plug-in with an older version of macOS (10.9.5 - 10.12), you can do that using Neat Video 5.3 (available in your account).
Optimization of several GUI elements for MacOS Big Sur
Added support for new AMD GPUs: Radeon Pro W5700 / W5500 / W5500X
CUDA is no longer supported on MacOS
The new versions of MacOS starting from 10.14 are no longer compatible with the NVIDIA CUDA driver required to run CUDA-enabled applications and plug-ins.
Previous versions of Neat Video could still use CUDA in MacOS 10.13 and earlier. In order to evolve Neat Video further, we had to switch to newer macOS development tools, which are no longer compatible with the NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit.
Unfortunately this means that Neat Video 5.4 plug-ins will be unable to use CUDA in any version of MacOS.
If you need to use CUDA with Neat Video in MacOS, you can do that using Neat Video 5.3 (available in your account).
