NVideo 4.5 OFX Unknown errors

Post by miltos »

I am using the OFX plugin with Davinci Reslove 12.5 (Not Studio) and while i am rendering i am getting an endless stream of error messages.

I am using Windows 7.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Hmmm a quick Update.

I have 2 GPUs on my system.

If i go to Davinci's preferences and choose Manual GPU selection instead of Automatic, select only one GPU and then Open CL instead of CUDA... the error messages go away.

Weird...

Yes, that is strange. Are those two GPUs of the same model?

(The screenshot is not visible unfortunately.)

Thank you,

Sorry for the belated reply. I was out of office for on-location production the last two days.

I hope that image embedding works now:

That looks like a problem in the GPU driver, which may be caused by exhausting of its memory resources by GPU users (Resolve and Neat Video in this case).

It is a known Resolve's trick to switch its GPU mode from CUDA to OpenCL to reduce the chance of that happening. So if it works for you when you switch Resolve to OpenCL mode, then please continue to use it like that.

Thanks Vlad,

I hope BMD will fix those issues with the Resolve 13.
