When will Neat Video 5.5.6 use the Apple M2 Max GPU?

I recently bought a MacBook Pro 16" M2 Max for use with DaVinci Resolve 18.

One of the reasons to upgrade to Apple M2 hardware is the performance of Neat Video and other CPU-GPU intensive plugins during grading and rendering. But Neat Video does not support the GPU of our MacBook at the moment...

As we use Neat Video quite a bit in our documentary work (natural light) this is too bad, as the GPU-cores could seriously speed up the rendering. So we can't wait to experience the benefit of our new MacBook Pro GPU hardware with Neat Video!

In what timeframe will Neat Video support the M2 Max GPU?

I just installed and tested version 5.5.8 in Davinci Resolve.

Wow! More than a doubling of the CPU-only performance on our MacBook Pro 16" M2 Max 64GB now the GPU is also enabled in Neat Video. Realtime 1920x1080 25p playback (perfect for testing the settings). Although we only re-enable Neat Video NR just before rendering out our timelines.

Thank you for this M2 Max enabled version, so we can tap into the power of this amazing laptop.
We upgraded our hardware in part because of our use of Neat Video in several projects.

DaVinci Resolve has noise reduction capabilities but we prefer the quality of noise reduction in Neat Video and the quick way to get optimal results in your magnificent plugin.

Thank you very much! We are also very satisfied that we can make the plug-in faster by adapting it to the new hardware.

What speeds results did you get with the M2 Max GPU? would love to see how much of a boost it is over the previous M1 Max GPU
