FCP x crashes when using Neat

Post by brettgoldsmith »

Hi,

Everytime i try to render noise or sharpening the mac hangs & crashes.
Can't use at all
Is this graphics card powerful enough & are there some solutions out there?
Should i install CUDA?
Hoping for some advice

If FCPX crashes or hangs then there should be a crash/hang report produced by OSX. It usually offers to send the report to Apple. Instead of sending it to Apple, please copy&paste that detailed report to an e-mail and send it to support [at] neatvideo.com. We will check the crash log and hopefully identify the cause and find a solution.

Please also open Neat Video's Options window, go to its menu Tools > Preferences > Performance and make a screenshot. Then use the Optimize Settings tool to run the speed test. Please send the results to support e-mail as well.

Please also specify whether you have already disabled background rendering and skimming (to avoid slowdown of FCPX caused by its excessive re-rendering).

Thank you,
Vlad
