I have tried the demo on my Vegas Movie Studio V8, and I love the effect. But when I tried a render using a short sample clip with and without the plug-in, I found I got a multiple of five rendering time. Five times the length without NV. Somehow I can't see using it in my typical application where that would add more time than my computer could handle overnight. For example I've got a 1 hour wedding video, very noisy, from hi-8 tape shot in bad light. To render the whole thing could take 25 hours!
Any advice? I'd sure like to use it.

Long Render
This is no bug, this is normal. You pay processing time for quality filtration.
You can of course disable some of the filters (like the temporal filter, or some of the channels in the intra-frame filter) but the resulting processing speedup will most likely be accompanied by reduced filtration quality. You can try that anyway.
Another option is to use more powerful hardware with faster processor (then more cores the better) and memory.
