Hi,

I'm trying to run your demo and am having problems with the testkit.zip. In particular, I can't get Vegas to allow me to place SampleClip.avi into the timeline. In addition, when I try to double click on SampleClip.avi from the desktop, Windows media player says that it can't find the right codec, and QuickTime just hangs. Any suggestion?

I have a pretty standard Windows XP (fully updated) Core2 Duo machine with Sony Vegas 7.0e installed. The only thing I can think of is that I also have Cineform installed.

Thanks in advance,

--Mark

I recommend to install the latest version of DivX codecs as well, this should help (the SampleClip.avi is encoded using a DivX codec).

Also, do not forget that you can use any of your own clips as well. The process is the same, the only difference is that you will have to build your own profile for your clip. That is easy to do using the Auto Profile function in the plug-in.

Hope this helps.
Vlad
