Neat Video 4 causing iMac 2013 27' to reboot

Post by roblelp »

Running Neat Video 4 since update came out. Tried yesterday twice on footage and it's causing my iMac to reboot at about %27 of the render. Just flat out reboots. No warning or anything. And I don't even see updates in to the crash structure about the reboots. Like the system just completely reboots and nothing is noted.

Only time this has ever happened is using NV4

That may indicate either a hardware or driver problem. Probably a problem with the GPU driver.

Do you let Neat Video use the GPU? Please check that in Neat Video Preferences (Performance tab).

Rerarding 27% of the render, is there anything specific in that part of the project? Perhaps some special combination of effects applied to one of the clips in the project?

Thank you,
Vlad
