Hi I am using Neat filter within PremierePro CS6. It works fine but I cannot get above 14 frames per second. My system has 2 Xeon CPUs with 12 cores in total. My GPUs are 1 GTX680 and 2 Quadro 4000. I am working on three RAID 0 drives.

Rendering a 100 min HD 1440x1080p 32 bit RGB sequence takes about 40 hours....

Any suggestions to reduce rendering time?

14 fps is not bad already and with that speed it should not take so much time to render the sequence unless you have many other filters and effects applied too. Is 14 fps the speed of Neat Video alone? Please post a log from Optimize window (in Neat Video Preferences).

The measured speeds look normal for that hardware.

If Neat Video was the only part of the render process then its 13 fps would allow to render one hour of video in about 2.3 hours of rendering. Of course that is in ideal case when the host application and other effects and codec do not take any time at all. In real project, they will certainly take some time and depending on those other components of the render process the overall render speed will be somewhat lower. For example, it could be 2 times lower, so 4.6 hours of render, that wouldn't be abnormal for Premiere.

Does it really take 40 hours on your computer or it is just a prediction done by Premiere?

What you could also do to speed up things is to make sure Premiere uses one GPU (one or both of the Quadro 4000 cards) and Neat Video uses another one (GTX680). This way different cards will do separate work and hopefully that will improve the overall render efficiency in Premiere. It is also worth trying to disable use of GPU by Mercury Engine and let it work using CPU alone. Sometimes that speeds up the overall rendering speed as well. Not always but sometimes that happens.

Thanks for the info. 40 hours was prediction. So I will disable GPU for Premiere and separate the GPUs. I'll let you know results.

It looks like CS6 has a proplem with the Neat and other effects. I've exported the sequence without Neat in about 50 min. Then I imported this sequence and applied Neat. Then I exported this sequence within arround 3 hours (radius 0). So in total with this workflow export time is 4 hours and not 40.
