Hi,
I've never had a problem with neat video installing until recently after I formatted and reinstalled AE.
Neat video installs and registers correctly but when I go to choose a filter preset from the menu it says:
Neat Video tried to load preset from file:
C:\ProgramFiles\NeatVideofor After Effects\PRESETS\Default.nfp
The specified file does not exist on the hard drive.
Hears the weird part... it does, and its exactly where it says it is.
What is going on?
Before you say reinstall, I have done. 6 times, and reformatted again just in case, can someone help with this as it is pain in the butt.
Thanks,
M.

It is likely to be Windows 7 or 8 and its file system tricks designed to protect the computer.
I recommend to move all profiles and presets from those folders to the Documents in your home folder, specify the new locations in Neat Video Preferences > Folders and then load the presets from there.
Normally, v3 of Neat Video should already do that for you during installation. Perhaps you use an older version?
