hello all

I'm new to neat video and so far it's doing some great stuff to my video. I'm having some problem with one low light scene and hoped someone could give me some help.

I'm trying to find a setting to get rid of the blockiness and banding at the end of the clip.

Here's the clip:

If that is the original clip, then NV will probably only help with the temporal filter radius 0. Or 1, provided you build a noise profile using a sample of that banding. The problem seems to be caused by the compression.

If that clip is the result of NV and compression then I recommend to check the compression settings (increase the bitrate) or let NV keep more noise in the clip (which wll cause the compression algorithm to give it more bitrate).

Hope this helps,
Vlad

hey vlad

yeah the clip is a result of my adding NV using the auto settings then output a QT ProRes 422 HQ clip. I will try to let NV keep for noise in the clip (if I can figure that out ahaha)

thanks for the info
