Neat Video 5.5.8

Neat Video 5.5.8 has been released with a number of updates for macOS, Windows, and Linux users.

Improved compatibility and refined user experience

The latest version of the video noise reduction software now supports GPU on M2 Pro and M2 Max computers, which means better performance and more stable work with your new computers. The list of host applications that can run Neat Video natively on M2 Pro and M2 Max includes:

  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • Final Cut
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Some OpenFX host applications (those that natively support Apple Silicon)

Windows and Linux users will appreciate the added support for new AMD GPUs:

  • Radeon RX 7900 XTX
  • Radeon RX 7900 XT

The 7900 XTX has been able to deliver a whopping speed of 103 FPS working with FullHD clips (Neat Video alone, the speed observed in renders will be lower due to the overhead of host applications).

In addition, the OpenFX plugin now adds support for the new versions of Foundry Nuke:

  • Nuke 14
  • Nuke Indie 14

On top of that, a few cosmetic improvements have been made in all plugins and several minor issues have been fixed. For more details please refer to the history of changes:
