It's Christmas in July time. Time for some presents and the Neat Video team has been helping Summer-Santa developing the new update of your denoiser and deflicker to make it faster, add compatibility with new versions of software and just make it a better helper for you.
Neat speed masters have been working on Neat Video's performance on Apple Silicon computers and made the denoiser work 5-10% faster (the speed of Neat Video working alone, see more information here). It's a modest step forward, yet every bit counts and we will continue speeding things up.
New versions of different video editing applications were quite plentiful during the last couple of months. Neat Video 5.4.5 has included support for the new Adobe, Magix and OFX hosts:
- After Effects 2021
- Magix Video Pro X (X13)
- Nuke 13, Nuke Indie 13
- Flame Family 2022
- HitFilm 2021.1
- DIAMANT-Film Restoration & DustBuster+ 13 (Windows)
We have also added support for several new AMD GPU cards on both Windows and macOS:
- AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (gfx1031, Navi 22), Windows
- AMD RX 6800 / 6800 XT / 6900 XT, macOS
The compatibility with the latest AMD GPU drivers for Windows has been improved.
Refined user experience
To give you a better understanding of what is happening in Neat Video, some information and error messages have been clarified in all Neat Video 5 plug-ins. We have also improved messaging in Neat Video Windows installers and fixed several minor issues throughout the plug-ins.
