Slowly but steadily software is adapting to Apple Silicon computers and now it’s time for Neat Video for Premiere to add native support for the new chip.
We started working with M1-native Premiere Pro Beta as soon as it has become available and it seems we have beaten Adobe :) Neat Video 5.4.3 plug-in for Premiere Pro is ready to go early. When Adobe publishes the release version of its M1-native Premiere Pro, Neat Video should not be affected and will continue to work normally.
This update is the first version of your denoiser natively supporting Adobe Premiere on M1 computers. Of course, the biggest difference between this and previous releases of Neat Video is the speed. Neat Video 5.4.3 for Premiere works 30% - 40% faster on Apple Silicon Macs compared to previous versions of the denoiser working via Rosetta.
