Flat featureless areas of a video frame are used in Neat Video to build
an accurate device noise profile. In the example below, a flat featureless area
is marked with the white box and
some areas that are not featureless are marked with black boxes. Auto Profile function in Neat Video can automatically
find flat featureless areas if such areas exist in the current frame.
You can also select such an area manually. If there are no such areas
then you have to use either another frame from the same video sequence
or another sequence produced in similar device mode to
build a noise profile. To build a noise profile: - click the Auto Profile button to automatically
find and analyze a flat featureless area in the current frame
or - select such an area manually and then click the Auto
Profile button to automatically analyze the selected area
