|
|
Hi Guys,
I just shot a short film on Super16mm and had quite a bit more grain than i would have usually expected due to some forced processing at the film lab. I've been trying out Neat Video on a few low res clips ripped from a DVD and they are turning out great.
We use a DigiBeta as our master, and edit online/offline on AVID using 1:1 MXF. I was wondering whether there is a way to integrate neat video into our workflow in anyway. We can export as .TIFF image sequence if we have to, and have access to most of the software that Neat Video is compatible with.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks guys,
Rob |

Exporting as TIFFs should be compatible with many of the supported hosts. After Effects comes to mind as the first choice, it can work with image sequences.

Many thanks Vlad.
NV has been a great help so far on this project. I used a silk denier stocking as diffusion over the lens on some shots, and unfortunately it came out visible on some of the rushes, but NV has managed to extricate those artifacts as grain.
Great results |
