Hello there. Haven't yet even tried the demo you offer; I've been reading the manual as far as I can before I even try.

But, a term you use in the manual is "video sequence", but you don't really say what that is. Do you mean any footage captured by the same device? Or do you mean a sequence of frames that all share the same light source, the same general scenery?

So, I have a lot of 16mm film I've digitized. If I build a profile for 60 seconds of that footage, would I be able to use the same profile throughout all the footage, given that all of the footage was produced by the same camera and captured into the computer by the same device?

A video sequence is a clip.

If you build a noise profile using a clip produced by one camera working in specific mode, then this profile will be good to be used with clips produced by the same camera working in the same mode. If you change the camera mode and that affects the noise properties then a new profile is recommended for the new mode.
