Hi guys,
I work mainly w/DV footage shot with a 35mm adapter. So the frame size isn't an issue for me.
My question is in regards to the high bitdepth rendering. If I'm working with DV footage does this really make a difference?
Thanks. |

It is not so much related to type of footage but rather to the type of postprocessing you do. When your host application allows that and when you apply a lot of effects, it is better to be able to use high bitdepth rendering.
When not sure start with the Home plug-in, then you can upgrade to the Pro plug-in.

Got it; thanks for the quick reply.
Would I still have to pay full price for the pro version after I purchase the home version? |

No, you would only pay the difference to upgrade.
